Jessica Dawn

About the Artist

Jessica Dawn resides in rural New South Wales in Australia. She has a Bachelor Degree in Fine Art at the National Art School in Darlinghurst, Australia. She majored in Photography and was commended in receiving High Distinctions for Life Drawing. Changing her medium in 2022 Jessica Dawn has been intrigued on how to translate the artistry of traditional art mediums to the creative capabilities of the digital world. Her training in analogue skillsets of both drawing and photography has not been lost since she uses the same tactical thinking process and finished aesthetic as the traditional forms of painting or drawing and applies this to all her works.

Realising the new wave of ecommerce stores were opening doors of opportunity to small businesses, she saw an opportunity to use this as a platform to self-represent her art. Building this website herself and testing production practices remotely via a lot of shipping, she has formed foundations to make her dreams a real business.

Creating artworks inspired by forms of beauty (Being people, nature, light, colour and composition) and using a print on demand production process means artworks are unique to the artist alone and cannot be found from anywhere else.

Jessica is also still very involved in the art community through social media and online avenues which also allow for many exciting opportunities to share her work, and has had the opportunity to exhibit pieces around the world.
